Summer in Rome
In 2014 I passed a couple of days in Rome. I was hosted by some friends of mine that lived quite close to the city center. I decided to take several walks in some not tourist places and I had the possibility to shot a portrait of the city quite uncommon to me, since I have visited Rome with tourist eye until that moment.
Still after some years I recognize a city that maybe doesn't exist anymore; canceled by internal scandal inside local government. In these pics the popular soul of this city seems still alive. Solitude and poverty, informal economy, homelessness became tragic features of the eternal city.
